I was diagnosed with cancer twice in my life. In this picture, I had just finished chemotherapy and was able to ring the bell. I was diagnosed the second time with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at 10 weeks pregnant. I did 9 of my 12 rounds of chemo while pregnant. Evelyn is now a very healthy and smart 6 year old!

I was diagnosed with brain & spinal cancer when I was 2 years old.  I just turned 7 & am so excited to share that I am now cancer-free!!  I am continuing to take a chemo medication from home everyday to make sure that the cancer does not come back.  I look forward to a day when I will be completely medication-free as well!

You know Gideons story! This is a photo of him getting his immune globulin infusion at the hospital. He hopes that someday there will be a cure for this unavoidable side effect of car t so he doesn’t have to go through these infusions for the rest of his life.

After having fought my battle against breast cancer and now living a life that I consider to be my new normal post-surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, I hope and pray my son never has to experience receiving a cancer diagnosis. Facing the statistic that 1 out of 2 men will receive a cancer diagnosis within their lifetime has me 100% bound for cures. While I've raised him to be a resilient, courageous little nugget who eats obstacle for breakfast and faces challenged with tenacity, I will do everything within my power to change that statistic! This is my commitment to him, to my wife and to our future generation!

A world without cancer means that we can shift our focus on other areas of need within our communities.  Instead of battling cancer, or focusing on cancer treatment, the focus can be on increasing access to basic needs like food, shelter, and education.
